My name is Joan. I live on the Upper Eastside. I provide SOLO daytime dog walks that cater to your needs. Whether your dogs are Senior, have Special Needs, or are just starting out, they get my full attention. You can count on me for safety, honesty, reliability and peace of mind.
Have you been disappointed with your previous dog walkers? I’ve been described as a “diamond in the rough” by many. I’m an experienced animal lover. A former corporate professional. A local Upper Eastsider, and a mature and responsible woman. I provide only the highest quality services.
While walking on the UES, I find it sad to see slower dogs with special needs being dragged along on a pack walk. That is why I want to provide SOLO walks. And, now I have time to do that. I have volunteered in pet rescue for 20 years. I’ve fundraised, fostered, case managed and adopted. My own rescue dog adoptions have included a blind/deaf dog, a Diabetic dog, and a dog with kidney failure. Each one required special care.

- Private walks for one dog at a time (or, two in the same family)

- Always on a safe leash and collar or harness. Absolutely no off-leash walks.
- I provide honesty, safety, maturity and reliability

- Ensure safety when crossing, or walking on a busy street
- Walk at your dog’s pace without being dragged around in a pack
- A text with a photo after every walk
